You are invited to participate in the Parks and Facilities Master Plan process! As someone who lives in or visits Hamilton County, sharing your ideas and experience is essential to understanding the needs of our community and shaping a community-driven vision for the future of our parks.
Here you will find events and online activities to engage with this planning effort. For up to date information throughout the process sign up for our email list. The plan covers three regions of the county and will take place over two years. Engagement information that pertains to one of the three planning regions will be listed under the appropriate column below.
Thanks to you and the feedback you have provided so far, our team is ready to share the draft Park and Facility Master Plans. We will host three online webinars using Zoom. There will be one webinar for each of the three regions within the Great Parks of Hamilton County system. The meetings will occur on May 18th, 19th, and 20th from 6:30-8:30pm.

- West Region Meeting will occur on Tuesday 5/18 at 6:30pm. West Region parks include Miami Whitewater Forest, Fernbank Park, Embshoff Woods, Shawnee Lookout, Mitchell Memorial Forest, Campbell Lakes Preserve, Oak Glen Nature Preserve and properties along the Whitewater River corridor.
- Central Region meeting will occur on Wednesday 5/19 at 6:30pm. Central Region parks include Winton Woods, Glenwood Gardens, Farbach-Werner Nature Preserve, Triple Creek, Richardson Forest Preserve and Newberry Wildlife Sanctuary.
- East Region meeting will occur on Thursday 5/20 at 6:30pm. East Region parks include Sharon Woods, Woodland Mound, Lake Isabella, Withrow Nature Preserve, Francis RecreAcres, Otto Armleder Memorial Park, Kroger Hills, Little Miami Golf Center, Avoca Trailhead and the Little Miami Scenic Trail, Bass Island, Little Miami River corridor properties and Great Parks Nature Center at The Summit.
